The mattress is held with fastening straps (snap lock). The tilt stand, metal frame (slats) and folding mechanism only available in white color.
Especially when murphy beds, it depends on the proven quality, if you do not want to resent stiff mechanisms and other processing defects in a short time. Our rigorous testing procedures ensures durability without sacrificing function: 10,000 times the SMARTBett was mechanically opened and closed and it still works perfectly!
In order to ensure high stability with minimum weight, 22mm thick particle board are used for building. Thus, the smart bed reaches a capacity of up to 300 kg (150kg on each leg). For the surface a high quality melamine coating was used, which is characterized above all by their resistance to scratches and high temperatures.
Thanks to specially-designed, powerful gas springs folding and unfolding is a breeze and is almost silent. To keep the slatted despite large movement play in position, it is tightly integrated and can not be replaced.
For the bed any standard mattress can be used in the appropriate dimensions, thickness, however, should not exceed 20 cm and weight of 20kg.
We offer optionally stronger gas springs of 1900N to support mattress up to 45kg

In order to preserve the fresh air of your mattress, the SmartBett is provided with ventilation openings.
Note:
Smartbett must be mounted to a solid wall. The beds can be expanded only in secured status!
Please note that you must have a minimum ceiling height of 235cm to install your SMARTBett with a height of 221,4cm.
The SMARTBett will be delivered disassembled and packaged.
