Thanks to the gas springs, opening and closing the bed requires almost no assistance and can be done with minimal effort. The specially developed system and the gas springs ensure that the process is virtually silent and effortless.
MIRRORED FRONT
The front of the wall bed has a brilliant mirror finish and consists of five individual panels with white backings, creating a harmonious look. The 19 mm thick glass laminate gives the front the elegant look of a real mirror, while being significantly more durable and suitable for everyday use. The reflective surface creates a feeling of added spaciousness and light in the room, visually enhancing even smaller spaces.
HIGH-QUALITY MATERIALS
The SMARTBett wall bed impresses with its high-quality frame made of 22 mm thick chipboard with a scratch- and heat-resistant melamine coating. Every surface is sealed all around – even the back – reliably protecting the furniture from moisture, dirt, and germs. Precise 45-degree beveled edges close all gaps and guarantee maximum hygiene, stability, and long-lasting use. HANDS & FEET
With a single movement when opening the bed, the sturdy feet fold down, providing a maximum load capacity of up to 400 kg. On slightly uneven floors, the height can be adjusted as needed using the adjustable feet.
UPHOLSTERED FRAME
You have the choice between an upholstered frame in anthracite or a version without an upholstered frame, featuring six metal brackets to secure the mattress. The upholstered frame surrounds the bed, including the slatted base and mattress, giving the open bed a modern and attractive look.
MATTRESS
The SMARTBett M1 wall bed is delivered without a mattress. A 180 x 200 cm mattress with a maximum height of 20 cm and a recommended weight of 25–40 kg is suitable. The usable space between the slatted base and the back panel is 22 cm.
