GAS SPRINGS Opening and closing the bed requires almost no assistance thanks to the gas springs and can be done with minimal effort. The specially developed system and gas springs make the process almost silent and automatic.
MATERIAL Chipboard (16/22 mm thickness) with a high-quality melamine coating, which is resistant to scratches and high temperatures, forms the front of the Murphy bed.
HANDLE & FEET With a single handle when opening the bed, the sturdy feet fold out and offer a maximum load capacity of up to 400kg. Please refer to the dimensions for exact load capacity. On slightly uneven floors, the height can be adjusted as needed with the height-adjustable feet.
MATTRESS: A mattress up to a maximum of 22 cm would fit the Murphy bed (180x200cm or 2 x 90cm), recommended weight for mattress/es: 15-30 kg/max.
UPHOLSTERY FRAME: The upholstery frame surrounds the bed or the slatted frame and mattress. Its modern upholstery creates an additional wonderful appearance when the bed is open. The padded headboard provides further comfort during use. The Murphy bed can be closed including the upholstery frame, mattress, and bedding, thus saving valuable space.
SOFA A padded sofa with wide armrests (each approx. 25cm wide) is installed in front of the Murphy bed. The two seat cushions must be removed before opening the bed. If needed, the sofa frame can also be removed from the bed. Three rectangular sofa cushions are included.
