GAS SPRINGS
Thanks to the gas springs, opening and closing the bed requires almost no effort and can be done with minimal force. The specially designed system and gas springs allow the process to be almost noiseless and self-operating.
MATERIAL
Particleboard (16/22 mm thick) with a high-quality melamine coating, which is resistant to scratches and high temperatures, forms the front of the Murphy bed.
HANDLE & LEGS
When opening the bed, the sturdy legs automatically fold out with a single handle and can support up to 400 kg. On slightly uneven floors, they can be individually adjusted thanks to height-adjustable feet. Handle: metal, black.
UPHOLSTERED FRAME
You can choose between an upholstered frame in anthracite color or a version without an upholstered frame, including six metal brackets to secure the mattress. The upholstered frame surrounds the bed or the slatted frame and mattress, giving the opened bed a modern, appealing look.
MATTRESS
A mattress measuring 140 × 200 cm with a maximum height of 20 cm and a recommended weight of 22–32 kg fits the Murphy bed. The available interior space between slatted frame and back panel is 22 cm.
SOFA
The sofa can only be used in combination with an M1 Murphy bed and is mounted directly in front of the bed. Before opening the bed, the two seat cushions must be removed. If necessary, the sofa frame can be detached from the bed. The upholstered sofa is available with narrow armrests (11 cm wide each) or wide armrests (26 cm wide each). High seating and lying comfort is ensured by a high-quality upholstery cover and high-resilience polyurethane foam. The delivery includes three lumbar cushions (each 51 × 25 × 7 cm). The sofa base measures 152 × 67 × 15 cm.
