GAS SPRINGS
Thanks to the gas springs, opening and closing the bed requires almost no effort and can be done with minimal force. The specially developed system and gas springs ensure that the process is almost silent and self-operating.
MATERIAL
Chipboard (16/22 mm thickness) with a high-quality melamine coating, which is resistant to scratches and high temperatures, forms the front of the wall bed.
HANDLE & LEGS
When opening the bed, the robust legs automatically unfold with a single handle and support up to 400 kg. On slightly uneven floors, they can be individually adjusted thanks to height-adjustable feet. Handle: metal, black.
UPHOLSTERED FRAME
You can choose between an upholstered frame in anthracite or a version without an upholstered frame, including six metal brackets to secure the mattress. The upholstered frame surrounds the bed, slatted frame, and mattress, giving the opened bed a modern, attractive look.
MATTRESS
Suitable for the wall bed is a mattress 140 × 200 cm with a maximum height of 22 cm and a recommended weight of 25–35 kg. The available internal space between the slatted frame and back panel is 24 cm.
SOFA
The SMARTBett wall sofa has been specially designed for the M3 wall bed and is the ideal combination of comfort, functionality, and elegant design. It allows the effortless opening and closing of the wall bed within seconds – without rearranging the seat cushions.
Before opening the bed, only the standing back cushions need to be removed. The seat cushions stay in place and are lowered easily via an integrated lifting mechanism using a loop. After closing the front, the cushions can be returned to the sitting position just as easily.
Thanks to high-quality upholstery fabric and high-density polyurethane foam, the sofa provides excellent seating comfort as well as pleasant lying comfort. The wall sofa is available in the timeless colors dark anthracite and light sand gray and can only be used in combination with the SMARTBett M3.
